In
the second half of the semester, all students are required to participate
in at least one Special Interest Group (SIG) that examines a variety
of issues in depth.(*summer
note: All first
timers will count their required readings as a SIG; the SIG requirement
is waived for second timers)

Interactive
Museums |

A number of Interactive sessions were organized during the term. These sessions were 30 minutes in duration and featured both student and professional works in the interactive media. Each session talked about design decisions and programming explanations of various features. All Studio participants were required to attend at least 3 of these sessions and write a brief reflection of each one, called a "David Clark Paragraph" (in recognition of the person who suggested this idea). My reflections include a brief overview of the sessions and the key ideas/thought/reflections that I came away with. *Quoted from the Spring 2003 Studio Handbook See below for paragraph summaries of the IMs I attended. |
